We are hoping this project will help the people of the world become nicer to each other. Maybe people will begin to see that it isn't so hard being nice.

Welcome to "We're Paying it Forward!"
We are doing "Pay it Forward" as our Cadette Silver Award Project. With this project we will do nice things for people. When we complete our tasks, we give that person a "We're Paying it Forward" card. We will log our good deed and city onto this blog. That person will then pay it forward by doing a good deed for another person and adding to this blog. They will hand off the card again and the cycle will continue.

When adding to our blog, please include the card color, the location you received the card, and the good deed.
ReplyDeleteDear Girl Scout Troop 732: We (my daughter, Rowan) recently received a Valentines Day bag from your troop with your card included. She is a very recent cancer fighter/survivor and attends a lil' tales play group/support group at Tampa's Children's Cancer Center.
ReplyDeleteWe have not had a chance to pay your kind deed forward yet, but we definitely have plans to pay lots of kindness forward in our future. My first goal, as a mom of a baby with Retinoblastoma is to educate other mom's on the importance of infant eye exams and to spread the word of programs like infantsee.com. So far, we have saved the life of at least one baby in the UK from Retinoblastoma with our story.
We also plan on doing more volunteer work when Rowan gets healthier and hopefully be able to help another cancer patient in need as others' have helped us.
Thank you very much.
~Megan and Rowan
I forget to mention that our card is green.
ReplyDeleteTroop 1818 bought toys for the Shirners hospital for the children and also delivered the toys that were collected from a business in Clearwater, we also helped Boy Scout troop 337 with their annual Food drive before Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYellow card, received at council.
Mackenzie from Troop 1818 and her family adopted a Mother and baby from the Alpha House for the holidays, we bought them things that they needed to get a good start as new family.
